Wooly Mixed (Young) Hay 400g

Wooly Mixed (Young) Hay is cultivated in Wooly’s farm and pasture located at the foot of Mount Yatsugatake in Nagano prefecture, Japan, the first in the world to specialise in hay just for rabbits. Everything is managed internally by Wooly from soil fertilisation and weeding to harvesting, processing and packaging.

It is a mixture of 4 different kinds of hay from Wooly Young Hay series including Wooly Barley Hay, Wooly Italian Ryegrass Hay, Wooly Japan Oat Hay and Wooly Timothy Hay. It is the perfect hay product for introducing different types of hay to your rabbits or small pets. The ratio of each hay type may vary with every bag.

• Barley hay is rich in vitamins, minerals, high quality proteins and fat. It also has a low calcium content.
• Italian ryegrass is known to be the King of Grass as it has the highest content of amino acids, the building blocks of life! Popular among rabbits and other small animals due to its palatability.
• Japan oat hay has a low calcium content, suitable for all rabbits.
• Timothy hay is essential for your rabbit’s diet to maintain an optimum gut and oral health. High in fibre, it also has a good nutritional balance of protein and fat.

You may also find a variety of herbs such as Bluegrass, Dandelion, Draba, Kidney Weed, Shepherd’s Purse, Shortawn Foxtail and Wormwood, mixed in with the hay.

As with all Young series, Wooly Mixed (Young) Hay is harvested early before it matures, resulting in lesser stalks and more leaves, the best of both worlds.
